3 things you should know before you become a rideshare driver

Over the years, ridesharing has become a trend and more people are becoming interested in signing up as a rideshare driver. Wherever you are in the world, ridesharing has become a normal thing, especially in big cities. It is also an interesting job that people are curious to try. After all, from the outside, working as a driver for a ridesharing company seems like a pretty good job. You get to meet different people and you can earn extra cash in your own time. You also don’t have a boss and your office is the road. You could ultimately just travel around your area, meet people, and at the same time, earn some cash. Who wouldn’t want that for their life, right? more “3 Things you should know before you become a rideshare driver”

iXOOST – The car exhaust audio system !

May 10, 2017

The whole world is fascinated by Italian super-sports & hypercars. Italy would now be also known for – (curtains up) iXOOST! Okayyy, brace yourselves, you’re going to see something which you’ve never imagined of ! iXOOST – The car exhaust audio system is a unique docking station made from old car exhausts & Formula 1 exhaust pipes!

About iXOOST :-

iXOOST is an Italian company that also belongs to Modena. Wait, does it ring any bells ? – The same city where the factories of super sports car makers – Ferrari, Lamborghini, Pagani & Maserati are/were located here(except Lamborghini which has their headquarters nearby). And so Modena is also called the “capital of engines” !
iXOOST'S dock station made from F1's exhausts !
iXOOST is created by Matteo Panini-who feels deep respect & admiration for old cars and things from Modena & Mirco Pecorari-who comes from the world of aviation!

Our senses are also unique, just as our own soundtracks are:
ourfavourite songs and all the things that bring back strong emotions, just like a Formula 1 Grand Prix.
Sight, hearing and touch are all extremes of a world which may be found today in our dock station.
And so we have risen to the impossible challenge of combining mechanics and sound.

says iXOOST.

Indeed the sound of the finely tuned engine of a sports car & a Formula 1 is inimitable. Everyone can hear it’s sound, everyone sees it but only a real passionate person would FEEL !!!

About iXOOST – The car exhaust audio system :-

The audio systems or the dock stations are hand made in Modena. You may configure your dock station & even customize it & get it delivered right to your door 😉 !
The “orchestra of sound & mechanics” comes in 3 distinct forms –
1. iXOOST OTTO
2. iXOOST XiLO
3. iXOOST Radial6
Let’s get to the handmade masterpieces made by extremely passionate people made with extreme technical precision!

iXOOST OTTO :-

Made from the genuine F1 exhaust, the OTTO immediately catches your attention. They are differentiated & available according to the number of cylinders – V8, V10 & V12 ! It has 4 speakers, 1 extended ranged speaker & 1 subwoofer ! Price:- € 6500

iXOOST XiLO :-

The XiLO consists a monocoque chassis in aluminium & wood(the base). The origin of the word – “XiLO” comes from the Greek word-xylon, which means ‘forest’.
The XiLO has 3 speakers + 2 subwoofers facing in the front side plus the coaxial sub-woofer facing downside. The coaxial subwoofer is for obtaining deep & precise bass sounds, says iXOOST. It weighs about 18 kg.  Price:- € 5000

iXOOST Radial6 :-

This perhaps is more interesting. The tailpipes of supercars weren’t just enough, so Mirco Pecorari who is inspired by the world of planes decides to make another dock inspired by the design of Radial engines.
The supporting blade raises the block & the nose of the dock is carved out of a solid block. iXOOST wanted to make it so perfect that the blade closes perfectly with the nose cone and the crankcase of the back woofer to imitate a real plane engine. Price:- € 8000

Know more about :- Radial engines-History, Parts, working, prod & cons !
For more detailed descriptions & buying, visit iXOOST’s store

OTTO & Radial6 are audio systems for iPad & iPhone while the XiLO has wireless connectivity available with any smartphone. XiLO is equipped with BlueTooth technology & even with AUX connectivity.
The perfections & detailing of every model clearly tells us about how passionate they are! I would really love to meet them & have a chat if I ever get a chance 😀 !

I would also love to buy one of them but… IN FUTURE !(because probably my parents would kick my butt if I ask them to buy me one)
It is a perfect gift to a passionate mechanical engineer! So let’s just dream about it(coz it doesn’t cost), & which soundtrack would you love to play first on it? Share your thoughts in the comment section below! I’m waiting…

Gibbs Quadski – An amphibious quad bike/ATV !

March 30, 2017

It always seems impossible until it’s done !

– Nelson Mandela

A couple of hundred years back, it was quite impossible even to think or imagine that we could talk to each other standing in any two corners of the world, could step on moon, could make a thing which would fly like a bird or make a car which would transport  & could be efficient hundred times the human labour. But it all happened ! After making a car it was hard to believe that we could even make a vehicle which would be driven on water… All right, brace yourselves, the future is here – Gibbs Quadski !

Quadski :-

The Gibbs Quadski (video below) is one of the most advanced and efficient amphibious quadbike/ATV (All terrain vehicle) i.e which could be driven on land as well as on water !

The Quadski uses Gibbs’ High Speed Amphibian (HSA) technology, which includes more than 300 patents and patents pending worldwide.
When entering the water, by pressing a button the driver can retract the wheels into the wheel wells within the vehicle’s body and detach them from the drive train. It can transition between land and water in about 5 seconds(pretty impressive 😉 ).

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

On water, the Quadski draws water before directing it through the engine driven impeller(kind of propeller), which with the nozzle propel the Quadski at high speed.

The Quadski allows for over 2 hours travel time on the water. Its range on land is up to around 600 kilometres (370 mi).

Gibbs Quadski was launched in October 2012 by Gibbs Sports Ambhibians. It went on sale in January 2013 in Florida and is now available in selected regions of the United States with a starting price of about $40,000 (you have to spend some real sh*t ? ).

Kurin Systems set to launch world’s first portable air purifier – Atom

February 3, 2017

Most countries in the world are severely hit by air pollution, the air quality has surpassed living standards. India especially is getting severely affected by air pollution. Believe me or not, 13 of the top most polluted cities in the world are in India. Most metropolitans have air quality that pose a serious risk to not only the children and elderly but now everyone is affected as bad. Nearly 40% of all children have lung disorders due to the air quality (WHO).

Currently, the masks available in the market are not effective in protecting from the PM 2.5 particle(Particulate Matter 2.5 micron or less in width which is 4o times thinner than thickness of average human hair).
A Delhi based company called Kurin Systems has made world’s first portable air purifier which could also eradicate PM 2.5 particles.

About Kurin Systems :-

Kurin Systems has tied up with the world leader in manufacturing Foxconn Technology Group to come out with their exclusive range of state-of-the-art Air Purifiers.
Currently on a B2B platform Kurin Systems boasts of many prestigious clients consisting of many consulates and embassies, hotels, hospitals, industries and most of the law offices in India.
Kurin Systems was solely created to target the Indian air conditions and strategically eliminate the high level of pollution that we face today.

The company offers a range of air purifiers of various sizes & capacity for cars, offices & living rooms too. The company is going to launch a portable air purifier called Kurin ATOM on 3rd February 2017.
With this device, Kurin looks to tackle the greatest threat of outside Air Pollution which has no clear remedy in sight.

Kurin Atom :-

Let’s know what makes Atom different from all other purifiers…

  • Kurin Atom is a purifier that can be carried along anywhere. It is as big as your mobile phone with a height of just 5 inches & as light.

  • Atom is a two in one device which can be attached to a mask through a cord or be used stand-alone.

  • It comes with a 2200mAh battery and on a single 45min charge it lasts up to 8 hours.

Above all, Atom has been thoroughly tested as a car purifier and is the perfect solution to eradicating all Particulate Matter as well as cigarette smoke and odour.

Also as mentioned earlier, PM 2.5 particles can only be eradicated using a HEPA filter as they’ve used in Atom along with Pre-Filter as well as the Activated Carbon Filter to provide the optimum level of purification.

This device is the answer to the question that no matter how clean the indoor air might get, when we get out, we will have to suffer.

says Kurin Systems.

Currently, the product is for sale only on their website – Kurin Systems, you can buy it from there !
